Entry Requirements:
  • Completion of TLIF2080 Safely Access the Rail Corridor
  • Candidates must be able to read and write to a moderate level in English and be physically fit to handle and operate small tools/machinery

This course provides 7 of the core units of competency from TLI21915 Certificate II in Track Protection.

  • The eighth core unit, TLIF2080 Safely access the rail corridor, is gained through the VIC Level 1 Train Track Safety Awareness course
  • The unit TLIB2085 Apply track fundamentals is gained through completing the Apply Track Fundamentals course

Training Ahead delivers this course in conjunction with Active Training Specialists (RTO 32086)

  • TLIE1003 Participate in basic workplace communications

  • TLIW2001 Operate under track protection rules
