The CPCCWHS1001 Construction White Card course is a mandatory requirement for an individual to receive their Rail Industry Workers’ Card.

This unit covers the required Occupational Health & Safety procedures on a work site. It includes awareness of OHS, risk management and prevention of injury or illness on site. This card is required before working on any active construction/ mine site.

Rail Networks:The units of competency provided in this course are nationally recognised by most railways in Australia. Additional operator-specific inductions and training may need to be completed before working on individual rail networks.

  • Students must be able to read and write to a moderate level in English (reasonable adjustment can be made for learners with language, literacy, or numeracy needs)
