EWP (Under 11m)
Elevating Work Platform (Boom Lift) Under 11 Metre
As part of their “duty of care” an employer has to provide staff with a safe workplace. The Work Health and Safety Act and Regulations states that operators of plant equipment must undergo activity based instruction and training.
A Yellow Card provides ‘evidence of training’ for the following equipment: Boom Lift and Knuckle Boom (under 11m) The course structure is structured to Elevating Work Platforms (under 11mtr) in general, delivering a broad overview.
If two types of lift are required (eg Scissor Lift and Boom Lift under 11m) the second fee will be $100.00 providing the two are completed on the same day.
All participants meeting the assessment criteria will be issued an Elevating Work Platform Association ‘Trained Operator’ Yellow Photo Card, specific to the type of EWP you have been trained in the use of i.e. Boom Lift, Scissor Lift, Vertical Lift, Trailer Lift or Truck Mount.
