The V/Line Track Vehicle Operator is required to be undertaken by any individual required to operate a Road/Rail Vehicle or Track Machine within a ‘restricted’ environment‚ i.e. within a worksite protected by a method of safeworking.

There are no prerequisites as per training.gov however as this course involves operating a track vehicle‚ students must have the following pre-requisites which meet the RIW Requirements:

- You will receive the V/Line Track Vehicle Operator 1 Certificate of Achievement

- Drivers Licence
- TLIC3045 - Operate Road Rail Vehicle Statement of Attainment
- TLIC2054 - Access Rail Track to Run Track Vehicle withing Defined Worksite Statement of Attainment
- Category 1 Rail Medical
- V/Line Train Track Safety Awareness Course
What to Bring and Wear:
For the practical‚ full PPE is required, including:

- Work Boots,
- Long pants,
- Long Sleeve High Visibility Shirt or High Visibility Vest
- Eye Protection - safety glasses
- A Hard Hat
- Safety Gloves
