Chatswood-City services bolstered ahead of Sydney Metro opening
Sydney Trains services between Chatswood and the city will run every three minutes during peak, under a raft of changes ahead of the opening of the new Sydney Metro line in May.
Melbourne Metro Rail Tunnel Project

The Melbourne Metro Rail Tunnel will completely transform Melbourne’s current rail services. Five new stations (Arden, CBD North, CBD South, Domain and Parkville) will take pressure off Flinders Street and the City Loop, creating a brand-new, upgraded loop. These stations will be utilised by different lines on new routes that will be created in future.

The State Government of Victoria have committed to the planning and building of a new airport rail link in its upcoming state budget after almost a decade of debate.
Melbourne Airport is located in Victoria, Australia. It is one of Australia’s major international entry points and caters for over 28 million air passengers each year.
Hurstbridge Line Upgrade

The bottleneck of the intersection at Lower Plenty Road and Rosanna Road will be eased by the long-awaited upgrade of the Hurstbridge line at Rosanna station. A duplicate track between Rosanna and Hurstbridge will increase efficiency and lower waiting times for trains on the line. As a result, a complete station rebuild will also increase commuter comfort.
Upgrade of Ballarat Line

The amount of people using the Ballarat line to get from Melton into the city has more than doubled in the past ten years. Hence the urgency of this project. With duplication of the line from Deer Park to Melton increasing reliability and timing of the current network. This also creates the possibility for Melton to become electrified in future, thus creating an all new line on the Melbourne Metro.

After receiving feedback from over 1700 surveys undertaken across the state, the best way to deliver reliable services for regional areas was devised. This project includes the increasing of train services to many different areas all over regional Victoria.
