Provide First Aid (Rail Specific)

Rail and Construction Specific First Aid

First aid skills are best maintained and updated as new techniques and technologies like the AED (Automated External Defibrillator) are developed. Up to date first aid qualification makes an impressive addition to a résumé and gives the confidence and ability to calmly provide aid when faced with a medical emergency.

This course is considered the industry standard for First Aid. In addition to the standard course, the rail specific section includes:

  • Introduction to rail specific risks
  • Sharps management
  • Pinch points
  • Introduction to rail terminology

Our course is comprised of two components: 1. Online learning and assessment (approximately 1 – 5 hours online) 2. Face-to-face training and assessment (approximately 6-8 hours in the classroom)
