The Work Skill Instructor Skill Set (TAESS00028) provides the necessary skills and knowledge for those who facilitate and conduct work-skill instruction whilst delivering nationally recognised training under supervision in the vocational education and training (VET) sector.
The TAESS00028 Work Skill Instructor Skill Set includes two units of competency from the full TAE40122 Certificate IV Training and Assessment:
- TAEDEL311 Provide work skill instruction
- TAEPDD401 Work effectively in the VET sector
These units can be used to provide credits towards your TAE40122 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment.

You are required to provide the following ID, ideally one the following two types:
- Australian Drivers Licence
- Passport
Yes, it is delivered by Aakira Pty Ltd trading as Training Ahead Australia (RTO Code: 45462).
Training Ahead does not provide any guarantee that:

This course does not require work placements.

Students will not be issued a Qualification Testamur or Statement of Attainment without a valid USI.
- Students are required to have the ability to read and write English
- The ASQF level of this training program has been assessed to be level 4
- Students are required to have at least Year 10 level of numeracy, literacy and communication skills. Please advise if you have any language, literacy, or numeracy needs; or difficulties reading, writing, or speaking English.
All individuals entering into this training course are subject to an LLN assessment prior to enrolment. If the LLN assessment does not adequately assess the candidates LLN level or there is any ambiguity, the assessor will conduct a secondary interview to determine the candidates LLN level and take appropriate action, in accordance with TAA’s LLN procedures.
Where a candidate is determined to not meet the required LLN skills required they will not be enrolled in the training program.
This course is not eligible for Government Subsidies through Training Ahead Australia.

Students are to be aware they will be required to have access to the following as a part of their practical assessment requirements:
- Virtual students must be able to video record their 3 x 30 min sessions
- Students will need a group of two adults for the delivery of their first session, and two other adults for 2 x individual sessions.
