ARTC TA20 Track Vehicle Operator

Training Ahead is an approved supplier of ARTC and offers the approved training of the ARTC TA20 Track Vehicle Operator course.

The ARTC TA20 Track Vehicle Operator course is a requirement for any individual operating a Road/Rail Vehicle or Track Machine within a ‘restricted’ environment, i.e. within a worksite protected by a method of safeworking.

This course is recognised on the following railway networks: ARTC

Rail Operators (AROs) consider this skill set to be a minimum requirement for anyone wanting to work within the rail corridor as track vehicle operator. On completion of this course, it will make up the Rail Industry Worker Card Job Role ‘ARTC TA20 Track Vehicle Operator’.

Please note: As part of the course, training and assessment process you will need to operate a road/rail vehicle in a simulated workplace environment and as such, Training Ahead Australia has an admission requirement of all participants having to hold a valid drivers license.

The Vehicle that TAA is currently using is a manual Toyota Land Cruiser Hi-rail vehicle. Should you currently hold a probationary license with an automatic only (A condition), or, if you don’t have experience driving a manual vehicle please contact TAA’s booking team on 1300 355 900.
