Units of Competency - Nationally recognised Statement of Attainment
  • TLIF0027 - Perform Lookout Duties
  • TLIF2082 - Perform handsignaller duties
  • TLIF2097 - Use audible track warning devices
  • TLIW0007 - Operate under track protection rules
ARTC Certificate of Achievement 
  • ARTC TA20 Lookout and Handsignaller
Prerequisites
These will be required before a booking can be confirmed. 
  • Category 1 Rail Medical (summary page only)
  • A statement of attainment for TLIF0020 Safely access the Rail Corridor (or equivalent)
  • A Statement of attainment for CPCCWHS1001 Prepare to Work Safely in the Construction Industry or equivalent which can include White Card, Red Card or other state equivalent Industry
  • What to Bring and Wear:
For the practical‚ full PPE is required‚ including:
  • Work Boots
  • Long pants
  • Long Sleeve High Visibility Shirt or High Visibility Vest
  • Eye Protection - safety glasses
  • A Hard Hat
  • Safety Gloves
  • If you are unable to bring the above, please contact the TAA office to arrange to hire some in advance.
